Description
The South Carolina Marine Genomics Consortium is a collaborative agreement between the College of Charleston, Clemson University, the Hollings Marine Lab and the Medical University of South Carolina to support the development of a state-wide collaborative marine research program. The consortium consists of faculty and staff from all four institutions. The consortium provides support in terms of funding, exchange of ideas and opportunities for collaboration for member researchers involved in projects where marine genomics is the fundamental underpinning.
Mission Statement
Using cyber-enabled genomic and bioinformatic approaches to predict and address
the impact of climate change and environmental stressors on ecosystems.
